David Barette has exhibited in a number of London venues.

Some European Cities
Opened at The Changing Room Gallery, Walthamstow in 2007 and showed subsequently at La Brioche Restaurant (Hampstead), Spark Cafe (Springfield Park, Clapton), Lakeside Cafe (Alexandra Palace) and Chichi restaurant (nr. Bethnal Green).

Subtitles (of Life & Death)
Opened at The Changing Room Gallery in 2008 and showed subsequently at Lakeside Cafe, Spark Cafe, and the Gallery Cafe (Bethnal Green). An early version of this show was exhibited for the E17 Art Trail in 2007. It was also later shown in the 2009 E17 Art Trail.

In a Lonely Place (Forever)
A short film which was shown in 2008 for the E17 Art Trail.

Somewhere Else
First exhibited at The Changing Room Gallery and Matsu Photographers Gallery (Mile End, London) in 2009. In 2010 two photographs from Somewhere Else featured in an exhibition entitled Beyond Words at The Red Room Gallery, Walthamstow. In late 2010 Somewhere Else was exhibited at The Gallery Cafe, Bethnal Green, as part of Photomonth - the East London Photography Festival.

A Suite of Lighted Rooms
In 2010 two digital collages, Marx & Spencer and Back in the USSR, were exhibited in a group show entitled A Suite of Lighted Rooms at Puskin House, Bloomsbury Square.

The Long Conversation: Poetry & Painting
In 2011 two new digital collages, Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues and This Movie is Mine: Patti Smith were exhibited in a group show entitled The Long Conversation: Poetry & Painting.

What Happens When Nothing Happens: The Everyday
In 2011 he exhibited photographs for a group exhibition entitled What Happens When Nothing Happens: The Everyday as part of the E17 Art Trail.

Live Your Dreams
A selection of older and new photographs, was exhibited at Mario’s, Kentish Town, throughout late 2011. The same exhibition, along with digital collages, was shown at Spark Cafe, Springfield Park, Clapton in 2012.

Lisbon Walls
A new exhibition, Lisbon Walls, was shown in 2012 as part of the E17 Art Trail. An extended version of Lisbon Walls Pictorem Gallery, Walthamstow and Lakeside Cafe, Alexandra Palace in 2013.

Book Marks
A group exhibition which was shown at E17 Art House, Walthamstow and The Mill, Walthamstow in late 2013.

Word on the Street
Another group exhibition which was shown at Pictorem Gallery in late 2013. Four photographs combining image and text were exhibited.

You Are Not Here
A new exhibition exploring the strange, surreal and mysterious in the everyday was shown at Pictorem Gallery in May, 2015 and Hackney Picturehouse in March, 2016.
